The Early Bud stage

This stage of limb regeneration marks the apperance of a new structure in limb regeneration, "the limb blastema." This blastema structure is a cone of cells that increases in size to allow the replacement of the missing structures. The blastema forms from dedifferentiated stump cells that migrate to the center of the amputation plane and by cellular proliferation of these cells.
