ADRIANA AWARD
   
  The Award
  The ADRIANA award is given annually to the best excellence in research project that has utilized Drosophila as a model organism. The award consists of a cash prize of $500 and a plaque.
  Requirements
  To be eligible for the award you must meet the following the requirements.
  1. You must have completed an Excellence in Research Project in the Spring of the award year.
  2. The project must be carried out in the laboratory of any member of the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
  3. The focus of the research can be in any area but must use Drosophila as the study organism.
  Faculty
  Faculty in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology that are currently doing research with Drosophila include Professors, Ayala, Bradley, Briscoe, Jafari, Long, Mueller, Ranz, Rose, and Thornton.
