| The Award | |
| The ADRIANA award is given annually to the best excellence in research project that has utilized Drosophila as a model organism. The award consists of a cash prize of $500 and a plaque. | |
| Requirements | |
| To be eligible for the award you must meet the following the requirements. | |
| 1. You must have completed an Excellence in Research Project in the Spring of the award year. | |
| 2. The project must be carried out in the laboratory of any member of the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. | |
| 3. The focus of the research can be in any area but must use Drosophila as the study organism. | |
| Faculty | |
| Faculty in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology that are currently doing research with Drosophila include Professors, Ayala, Bradley, Briscoe, Jafari, Long, Mueller, Ranz, Rose, and Thornton. | |
