Gary's Pinnacle is a site dedicated to all things SCUBA related. The page started as a directory of diving info centered around Monterey, California, but is expanding. If you dive, there is almost certainly something here for you. While this site is mostly a venue for me to express my own love for diving, it only works if it provides useful, interesting, and entertaining info for my visitors. Feel free to contact me with suggestions about material or links you would like to see included.
Before you go on, read my general disclaimer. Also, take a look a my copyright notice. And if you're curious about who I am, check out "Who the Hell is Gary?"
Diving in Monterey - This is a collection of information about diving in Monterey, CA., the best diving in the U.S. It includes some of my own info, and links to other sites.
Underwater Photography - Here you'll find links to sites with pictures and info on UWP, as well as some of my own work.
Tech Diving - This is a collection of links for those of you who just can't resist pushing the edge of the envelope.
Dive Safety - Here you'll find a series of articles I have written on the subject of diving safety.
SCUBA Humor - A collection of humorous SCUBA stuff.
My list of well-made personal SCUBA pages was starting to get a little long, so now they reside on their own page. These pages are your best source for local dive info about specific geographic regions.
I've tried to balance this page so that I hit the most interesting SCUBA links on the Web without loading it down. I realize, however, that in doing so I may have missed some really good stuff, or I may just not have the one thing you're looking for. If you feel either of these is the case, e-mail me at garyvilla@earthlink.net and let me know.
One site that is worth visiting is the DAN home page. DAN (Diver's Alert Network) does research on diving physiology that is beneficial to all divers, and provides diving insurance and an emergency hotline for diving injuries. All sport divers should consider joining.
