Marine Science and Education

Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University. Hopkins is the oldest marine station on the West Coast. It's also where I am currently a student.
CSUMB is the newest Cal State campus, built on what used to be Planet Ord.
Monterey Academy of Oceanographic Science is a science, math, and english intensive program for high school students interested in marine science.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium home page. Info on many aspects of the "fish prison".
Regional Monterey Bay Pages is a site put together by a group of UCSC students. It has info and links to sites around the bay.

Military Pages

DLI is the Defense Language Institute, located on the Presidio of Monterey. It is the language training center for the intelligence personnel of all our military services. Including me a few years ago.
NPS is the Naval Post-Graduate School. Lots of oceanographic and military links.

Marine Recreation Pages

Monterey Bay Kayaks rents those obnoxious sea kayaks that litter the bay on the weekends. Actually, I've tried it, and it's a lot of fun.
Monterey Bay Sailing is a page dedicated to, guess what.

Music

KRQC, the best radio station in town. Plays classic rock. Check out their home page. And hop over to Mark and Brian's (the morning show) page as well.
