If you've been a visitor to this site in the past, then welcome back. I took a bit of a break from the website, so things have been falling into disrepair. Well, I'm back, and the page is receiving a much-needed revamping.
Although the look of the page hasn't changed, much of it has been updated. Unfortunately many of the sites that I had previously linked to are no longer on the web. The good news is that there are many new sites that are quite good, and as I find them, I'll add them.
I decided not to give the site a facelift. I like the look of the original page, and despite all the new technology (Flash animation, etc.), a well-designed page that is easy to read and navigate, and presents information in a clear way is, if anything, even more a precious comodity than it was in the good old days of the start of the Web. Like so much in the computer age, flash is often for flash's sake, to the detriment of the user. The one concession I made was that I remade the whole page in FrontPage, instead of using all the old hand-code I wrote over a long weekend on a little orginal Mac running Word 4.
So, the point of all this is that the whole page is new, though it may appear to be the same. Take a look around and see what you can find. As soon as I get done with the basic repairs, I'll begin adding new material, including new critters and photos.
