2 OCTOBER. CALIFORNIA: SEABIRDS AND HURRICANES
The Los Angeles Audubon Society's weekly report of bird sightings in southern California for Thursday, October 2nd reports a Red-billed Tropicbird was found in northwestern Imperial County on Saturday. The bird was captured and later died. Other effects of the recent storm (Nora) have included Black-vented Shearwaters, Black and Least Storm-petrels and a Parasitic Jaeger at Lake Havasu between the 26th and 29th of September.--Peggi & Ben Rodgers
