The El Toro Marine Base is being turned into Orange County Great Park. Write letters to the City of Irvine to ensure that the park includes sufficient natural habitat to provide wildlife corridors to connect the two halves of the Nature Reserve of Orange County. Letters to the editor of all local and county newspapers would also be appropriate.
